Our final destination after dine next door in betty lou's My favorite to go home Tiramisu, chocolate fedora

the tiramisu here is one of the best I have had... it's so light and fluffy and far from sweet (so if you prefer desserts that aren't too sweet, you'll enjoy this). the sacripantina was new to me and I loved it too. these were their top 2 must-trys and they delivered for sure

Got the tiramisu and cannoli, they were both amazing. So delicious. Easy on the sugar to display the quality of the ingredients. Other bakeries will put lots of sugar in but they don't need it. Small space but had seating and service was quick and efficient.

Stella is a favorite pastime for my family. Grandparents lived in the area, and Stella was where we'd go for a sweet treat after our weekly Friday night dinners. Out exploring the city with hubs and kiddo when we found ourselves here. We checked out other pastry shops, but Stella was the one calling to us. We ordered cappuccinos and shared slices of chocolate truffle and fedora. These are great for the chocolate lovers out there. Chocolate truffle is dense, while the fedora is lighter. Both were decadent. Before leaving, I also had to grab some cookies for my mom as these are her fave.

I consider myself a cannoli SNOB of sorts, and have sampled cannoli's from many states and Italy. That being said, Stella's cannoli's are very good!

I have been here several times they have good pastries, good price and good service . It is a nice spot for an afternoon coffee and hanging out with friends and family. Today I bought a tiramisu and some cookies and I loved it . Before I come to a point to take a picture of cookies , I ate them all . So I only have a picture of the tiramisu

Tucked away in North Beach, Stella Pastry & Cafe has been a San Francisco institution since 1942. With its charming Italian ambiance and delectable pastries, it's a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth or a desire for an authentic experience. From the moment you approach the display case, you're greeted by a symphony of pastries. Cannolis, sfogliatelle, biscotti, and an array of Italian cakes. The coffee menu complements the pastries perfectly. From classic espresso drinks to creamy cappuccinos, each cup is brewed with care and expertise. With its intimate size, seating can be limited, especially during peak hours. Be prepared to wait or grab your treats to go.

Solid post date night dessert spot! There weren't so many open places when we got out of a jazz show at Keys Jazz Bistro around the corner - but Stella's came to the rescue! Whilst the cannoli wasn't quite as impeccable as what we were spoiled with in Sicily, it was pretty solid for 9pm on a Thursday night! Lots of choice and we had a hard time not ordering one of everything - it all looked so good! The cafe itself is not the most luxurious spot to dine in - I imagine most customers grab treats to go - but had some bistro tables and a full espresso bar if you fancy a coffee to go with your cake!

Amazing pastry shop!! Loved the cannoli and the cream filled horn. A classic in north beach on Colombus! They are good at what they make and do! Service is fast and sooo kind. Reasonably priced!
